MUSTAFA RÂGIB’IN MEVLİD-İ NEBÎ’Sİ

Hz. Muhammed’in hayatı ve şahsiyetinin konu edildiği başta naat, mevlit, siyer ve hilye gibi türlerde kaleme alınan eserler Klasik Türk edebiyatının dinî muhtevalı metinleri arasında önemli bir yekûn teşkil etmektedir. Hz. Peygamber’e duyulan sevginin göstergesi olan mevlit, özellikle Hz. Muhammed’in doğumunu, bu vesileyle yapılan törenleri ve yazılan eserleri ifade eder. Mevlit metinlerinde genellikle Hz. Muhammed’in veladeti, bazı mucizeleri, peygamberliği, miracı ve vefatı konu edilir. Asırlardır Türk edebiyatında kaleme alınan yüzü aşkın mevlit türündeki metinler arasında özellikle Süleyman Çelebi’nin 812 / 1409-10 yılında yazımını tamamladığı Vesîletü’n-Necât isimli eseri ön plana çıkmıştır. İnsanların hem mutlu hem de hüzünlü günlerinde okunan bu eser birçok dile tercüme edilmiştir. Edebiyatımızda mevlit kaleme alan şairlerden biri de Mustafa Râgıb’dır. Şair hakkında kaynaklarda bir bilgiye rastlanmamıştır. Eldeki tek nüshada yer alan bilgilere göre Nakşibendi halifesi olduğu ve 1274 / 1857-58 yılında Manastır’da vefat ettiği bilinen Mustafa Râgıb’ın bu eseri 244 beyittir. Manzumede Allah ismini anmanın faziletini, Allah’ın varlığı ve birliğini, Hz. Peygamber’in nurunun yaratılışını, anne ve babasının evlenmesini, annesi Âmine Hanım’ın doğumu hakkında verdiği bilgileri, veladeti esnasında meydana gelen olağanüstü hadiseleri ve miracı anlatan şair, son olarak dua bölümüyle eserini tamamlamıştır. Bu çalışmada Mustafa Râgıb’ın eseri şekil ve muhteva açısından incelenmiş ve elde olan tek nüshadan hareketle Mevlid-i Nebî’nin metni okuyucuların istifadesine sunulmuştur.

The works written in genres such as naat, mawlid, siyer and hilye which are about the life and personality of the Prophet Muhammad, constitute the majority of the religious content texts of Classical Turkish literatüre. Mawlid, which is an indication of the love felt for the Prophet Muhammad, especially expresses the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, the ceremonies held on this occasion and the works written. Mawlid texts generally deal with the birth, some miracles, prophethood, ascension and death of the Prophet Muhammad. Among the more than a hundred mawlid-type texts written in Turkish literature for centuries, Süleyman Çelebi's work Vesiletü'n-Necat, which he completed in 812 / 1409-10, has come to the fore in every aspect. This work, which is read by people on both happy and sad days, has been translated into many languages. One of the poets who wrote mawlids in our literature is Mustafa Ragıb. There is no information about the poet in the sources. According to the information in the only copy available, this work of Mustafa Ragıb, who is known to be the Naqshbandi caliph and died in Monastir in 1274 / 1857-58, has 244 couplets. In the poem, the poet, who describes the virtue of mentioning the name of Allah, the existence and unity of Allah, the creation of the Prophet's light, the marriage of his parents, the information about his birth given by his mother, Amine, the extraordinary events that took place during his birth and his ascension, finally completes his work with the prayer section. In this study, after giving information about the Mawlid genre, Mustafa Ragıb's work was examined in terms of form and content, and the text of Mawlid-i Nebi was presented to the readers, based on the only copy available.
