OKÜLT BİLGİLER IŞIĞINDA OSMANLI ŞİİRİNE BAKIŞLAR, ss. 435-452

Ezoterik tinsel gelenek anlayışı olarak tanımlanabilecek okültizm, eskiden yeniye, kuşaklar arasında tartışma yaratmıştır. Ezoterik öğretiler, batıl inanç olarak kabul görerek göz ardı edilmiş, metinlerdeki anlam dünyasına ise ancak XIX. yüzyıldan itibaren ışık tutulmaya başlanmıştır. Gizembilim veya gizlicilik olarak da bilinen okült bilimlerin Osmanlılarda öğrenilmesi haram sayıldığı fikri yaygındır. Onlardan, gerek eşya üzerinde iksir katılarak sihir yarattığı gerekse geleceği etkilediği düşüncesinden hareketle gizli tutularak anlaşılmasından sakınılmıştır. Osmanlı şairleri edebî metinlerde bu bilimlere işaret ederek onlarla ilgili halk arasında yaygın olan inanışlara dair bilgileri aktarmada köprü görevi üstlenmişlerdir. Divanlar Osmanlıların birer tarih vesikalarıdır. Bu bağlamda makalede Osmanlı şiirinde okültizmin yansıması irdelenmiştir. Osmanlı kültür ve sanatı arasında okült ögelerin kullanımının edebî metinlerden hareketle irdelendiği araştırmada bu ögelerin tam bir tespiti yapılarak başlıklandırılmış, metinlerden hareketle ezoterik yapı gösterilmiştir. Geniş bir tarihî yelpazeye sahip olan Osmanlı şiirine ait farklı asırlarda yazılmış divanlardan seçilen örnek şiirlerdeki bu ezoterik yapılar, sosyal hayata ve zihniyet gibi birtakım verilere ışık tuttuğu gibi Osmanlı’nın miras aldığı ve içselleştirdiği değerlerin tespit edilmesinde de yol gösterici nitelik taşımaktadır. Manzumelerde aktarılan bilgiler ışığında halk-saray ve çevresine uzanan bir silsilede Osmanlı toplumunun altı asırlık yaşayışını şekillendiren arkaik düşünce yapısı, folkloru da ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Şairlerin mısralarına serpiştirdiği bu bilgileri kullanış gayesi sanatsal dilden hareketle gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır.

A Look at Ottoman Poetry in the Light of Occult Information, pp. 435-452

Occultism, which we can define as the esoteric spiritual understanding of tradition, has created a debate between generations from the old to the new. Esoteric teachings were ignored by accepting as superstitions, and the world of meaning in the texts has begun to shed light only in the 19st Century. The light has been shed since the 21st Century. The idea that learning occult sciences, also known as mysticism or occultism, was considered haram by the Ottomans. It has been avoided to understand them by being kept secret, based on the idea that they both create magic by adding potions on the item and affecting the future. Ottoman poets served as a bridge in conveying the information about the beliefs common among the people by pointing to these sciences in literary texts. Divans are historical documents of the Ottomans. In this context, the reflection of occultism in Ottoman poetry is examined in the article in hand. In the study, in which the use of occult elements among in the Ottoman culture and art is are examined with reference to literary texts, these elements are identified and titled, and the esoteric structure is shown based on the texts. These esoteric structures found on sample poems selected from divans written in different centuries belonging to Ottoman poetry, which has a wide historical spectrum, shed light on some data such as social life and mentality, and also serve as a guide in determining the values that Ottoman inherited and internalized. In the light of the information conveyed by the poets in their poems, the archaic mentality and folklore that shaped the life of the Ottoman society for six hundred years was were revealed in a series extending to the people-palace and its surroundings. The purpose of using this archaic information, which the poets sprinkled in their verses, was tried to be shown through artistic language.
